The EVH 5150 Iconic Series satisfies the needs of gigging and recording guitarists craving that pure and powerful EVH tube tone, but at a more affordable price. Evolving from the revered EVH 5150III amplifiers, the Iconic Series delivers the searing sound and growling gain that the late-Eddie Van Halen made famous throughout his groundbreaking career. This all-new series launches with the 80W Head, 4x12 Cabinet and 40W 1x12 Combo — all in either Black or Ivory.

SEARING SOUND AND GROWLING GAIN The 5150® Iconic® Series 80W Head & 40W 1x12 Combo deliver the culmination of Eddie’s life-long chase for the holy grail of tone—searing sound and growling gain—at an affordable price. Two channels combine to deliver pure tube power that can deliver across any genre. The Green channel boasts an overdrive button to run from lush clean tones to increased gain, while the Red channel’s burn button adds fiery crunch for blistering leads. |

TAKE COMMAND Tone for days is for the taking with a comprehensive control layout. Independently dial-in volume and gain for Ch. 1 and 2 for level matching. Ch. 2 features a noise gate control to suppress any hiss while ensuring all staccato riffing is articulate and crisp, not choked and choppy. Shared EQ controls allow you to adjust Low, Mid and High. A global presence knob creates full control over ultra-high frequencies, while the global resonance knob adjusts the power amp’s low frequency response. The Boost control on Channel 2 allows for adding another 10Db of foot-switchable volume. |

PURE TUBE POWER Two JJ ECC83S (12AX7) preamp tubes erupt with mega overdriven tone when pushed to the max, while JJ 6L6 power tubes (two 40W/four 80W) up the ante with plenty of saturated, high-gain attitude synonymous with Van Halen. |

CELESTION® SPEAKERS 12” custom-designed EVH® Celestion® speakers have been voiced specifically for this preamp circuit, so that the pristine cleans and searing high gain tones are tight, clear and articulate. The 40-watt 1x12 combo features one speaker, while the 4x12 cab is loaded with four. |
