When Broderick first came to Jackson to design his own signature model, he had clear demands in mind for his take on the venerable Soloist. Finding a more-than-willing partner up for the challenge, Broderick coined the longstanding high-performance guitar giant as the “company that could.” The results of the collaboration are sophisticated riffing machines loaded with premium features to keep up with the most demanding styles of music. New for 2021, Jackson is rolling out new Broderick models in both 6-and-7-string variants with hardtail or Floyd options, including an an all-new Transparent Blue finish with a poplar burl top.

Floyd Rose® Special Double-Locking Tremolo Bridge System Or Jackson Single-String Hardtail Bridge Broderick's models feature either Floyd Rose or a Jackson Single-String Hardtail Bridge. Recessed for picking-hand comfort, the Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo features zinc alloy saddles and a zinc alloy sustain block. The double-locking design allows players to lock the guitar in tune at the nut and at the bridge, resulting in excellent tuning stability and sustain throughout the most aggressive pull-ups and dive bombs. The unique Jackson Single-String Hardtail design features separate and individually direct mounted string saddles. Each string is isolated, allowing for individual resonance per string and a more focused sound. |
