The use of cherry wood gives the thin 5.1mm shell of the Cherry Bomb extreme hardness, yielding an exceptionally bright yet dry tone that will help the drum cut live. The sharp 45 degree edge cut to the far outside of the shell increases sensitivity around the drumhead perimeter and helps exaggerate the drum's bright tone quality. The smaller 13" x 5.5" size enhances articulation and increases stick speed, making the quickest rolls easier to both play and hear.
